Location & Admission The Location Small Wonders Nursery is registered for 80 children between birth and 5 years. The Nursery is ideally situated on Mount Road (B6178) in Levenshulme at its junction with Sandfold Lane, approximately 3miles to the South East of Manchester City Centre and 2.5 miles North of Stockport Town Centre. The Nursery boasts private off-road parking with a surrounding secure wall, and a state of the art closed circuit television system with video surveillance has been installed for peace of mind. We offer excellent childcare facilities in a safe, secure, welcoming and attractive environment. Each child is given the time and opportunity to develop his/her physical, intellectual, emotional and social skills with the help and guidance of our experienced and qualified staff. In our happy and well-ordered environment, you can be certain that your child is well cared for and encouraged to develop to his/her full potential.
Procedures For Admission Once you have decided that you would like your child to be part of Small Wonders Nursery, please complete the Online Registration Form stating which sessions you wish your child to attend and from what date. Most children need a period of gradual admission to Nursery. As we want your child’s time with us at Small Wonders to be happy and worthwhile, both you and your child will be invited to spend time in the Nursery environment. This settling period enables a child to become familiar with the routines of the Nursery and to make new friends, and it also provides parents with the opportunity to build up a relationship of friendship and trust with Nursery staff. Small Wonders offers a tremendous opportunity for very young people to experience the stimulation they get from being with and learning from other children. Whilst great emphasis is placed upon learning in these early formative years, our major role is to care for your child. Whether out of necessity or out of choice, you have chosen to give your child Nursery Care. The Children’s Act 1989 places stringent controls upon all childcare providers. Such guidelines are strictly adhered to and form the basis of our Childcare Philosophy. Small Wonders offers the highest of standards, lots of space and high staff ratios.
